Watercolors with Float Framing

I have always been bit frustrated and annoyed by glass “protection” for my watercolors.  I decided to investigate alternative methods.

These watercolors are on Arches 300 lb. cold press.  Once it is painted, it is sprayed with an anti-UV spray and then covered in a wax medium.  It is then float mounted over a mat board and framed.
